Alexandre James Rocca-Serra is a freelance Photographer from the island of Corsica, graduated from the prestigious university of Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne.
Passionate of documentary photography and ethnology he specializes in documenting traditional features of Asia, Latin America, Oceania and Africa and in cultures on the edge of extinction.
During the past ten years he traveled thousands of miles living and working in more than 50 countries. His talent and sensitivity to photograph daily life’s simplest moments has rewarded his work with authenticity and profound beauty.
Alexandre James currently works ¨freelance¨ on comercial projects: often for fashion, luxurious real estate agencies, exclusive hotels and golf clubs in Europe, Middle East or Asia.
His last project “reflected souls” is a long study on portrait photography and the fruit of many years of intense wandering around the globe in the search of the "perfect" portrait.
